OpTiMSoC gets Linux support in Google Summer of Code
Every year, Google runs its "Google Summer of Code" program to give students all over the world a chance (and a stipend) to contribute to open source projects. This year, we're happy to announce OpTiMSoC, our open source tiled manycore System-on-Chip implementation, is also participating! Over the summer, Pedro H. Penna will port the Linux operating system to OpTiMSoC. This will give us the chance to run much more software unchanged on the system, and make it more useful to a wider audience.
We're thankful to Google for creating such a great program, and wish Pedro all the best in his task.
